Pacifica is a rock duo formed by Inés Adam and Martina Nintzel, two friends brought together by a shared passion: The Strokes. Their musical chemistry is immediate, natural, electric.
Their sound draws on 70s garage rock, Britpop, shoegaze and the essence of classic Argentine rock — raw guitars, a solid bass, and vocals full of attitude.
Signed to Tag Music in Los Angeles after a pivotal trip to New York in 2022, they now play all over the world.

"The story is still being written."
— Buenos Aires, 2026Inés Adam and Martina Nintzel meet on Instagram in 2020. A follower suggests: "You should play with Martina." They have never met in person.
What brings them together: a shared passion for The Strokes, a similar vision of rock, and obvious musical chemistry — Inés on guitar, Martina on bass.
The name Pacifica comes from Inés's guitar — a Yamaha Pacifica. A minor detail that became the identity of an entire band.
A fan gives them tickets to see The Strokes in New York. They buy a one-way ticket. For the first time they play on iconic underground stages — The Bitter End, Arlene's Grocery — in front of thirty people who don't know them yet.
Those thirty people become the first Pacifists.
In 2022, Pacifica signs with Tag Music, Los Angeles — joint venture between Gabe Saporta and Atlantic Records. The same year, EP Not a Cover Band is released.
70s garage rock, Britpop, shoegaze and classic Argentine rock. Abrasive guitars, melodic bass, voices full of attitude.
